Hello there! My name is Kathy Davidson and I'm excited to share a bit about myself with you all. My journey with Mary Kay began back in the 1980s, when I was totally obsessed with makeup - and that hasn't changed! But over the years, my focus has shifted from the latest trends in cosmetics to creating a robust skincare routine. After all, a great canvas is essential before applying any work of art.
As an aging gracefully kind of woman who recently turned 67 (still can't believe it!), I've learned that taking care of your skin is a crucial part of feeling confident and looking your best. My regimen is centered around repairing, replenishing, and protecting my skin, ensuring it's well-prepared for the passing of time.
Fashion has been another lifelong passion of mine. In college, I studied fashion merchandising, well, I never made it to the Dallas Apparel Market as I had dreamed, but nonetheless, I've remained intertwined with the fashion world in various capacities. My obsession with all things style and beauty continues to fuel my soul.
My greatest blessings are my wonderful family - including a supportive husband, a beautiful daughter, two sisters and an ever-growing crew of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews! They keep me energized and passionate about life, which brings me to this exciting chapter.

Skincare is essential because it helps protect and maintain your skin's health, preventing issues like acne, aging, and sensitivity while keeping it youthful and radiant. It also plays a crucial role in boosting self-confidence and overall well-being by promoting a positive relationship with your body and appearance. Now, this was something I did not always do, as I was one of those who sunned in the summertime with baby oil and iodine. Oh, if only my 67 year self could have talked to my teenage self! So, yes, skincare is very important to me and I have trusted the same company for over 40 years!

Fashion is more than just clothes; it's a way to express yourself and feel confident. I love discovering amazing finds that not only look great but also make me feel my best, whether it’s a bold statement piece or a timeless classic. For me personally, I truly believe it is important to wear what makes you fee good and comfortable. I've never been a trend follower. I believe that just because it is the style - does not mean everyone should wear it! Wear what empowers you! My faith and family mean everything to me. My husband and I actually live on the same road, well that I not only grew up on, but both of my sisters and my daughter also. I will be featuring topics like aging, menopause, books, recipes, and kitchen hacks to provide support, inspiration, and practical solutions for everyday life. By sharing insights on these subjects, we aim to empower and uplift while offering creative ways to enhance your well-being and daily routines.
